Psychotherapist needs software that enables encrypted messaging between client and practitioner.

"I work in the field of private coaching and psychotherapy (private practice).

A problem I face is managing my email and text messages in a way that is entirely confidential.

The ideal software would be a platform that offers encrypted messaging between client and practitioner all in one place. It can be an app, a plug in or a software for a computer. With this app, all communication can be encrypted and not be vulnerable to confidentiality issues.

I would be willing to pay either $150-200 for the software or a monthly fee of about $10-25."

Hi willemvelden! I believe I may have already connected this individual through my newsletter (www.oppsdaily.com). However, I've seen secure messaging needs pop up over and over again across several facets of the healthcare field. I highly recommend reaching out to a few people to see if this is a wider need. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)

Signal (https://whispersystems.org/) has the approval of some very serious cryptographers, offers mobile apps for Android and iOS, along with a Chrome extension (https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Desktop#readme but that might require more hand-holding than your clients are willing to endure) In the spirit of "please don't write your own crypto," please don't write your own "secure messaging" app unless your threat model is just your parents
