Researcher needs database to record proper biotechnology protocols, papers in progress to publish, and a list of supplies needed for routine ordering
"I am a researcher at a well known clinic. I work in the research and development industry and work in the field of medicine, biotechnology and patient care.
We need some kind of database to record proper biotechnology protocols, papers in progress to publish, a list of supplies needed for routine ordering and a system that reminds us when we're running low. We need software that could give us shared access to this data.
This software would solve the problem of having to email documents back and forth when writing a paper for publishing. This would solve the issue of logging necessary supplies. We need some sort way to track what we use and how often we use it. We also need a way to keep track of all the biotechnology protocols we perform in the lab, who's responsible for the protocols and how often we need to perform them and what supplies they need.
My boss and I have been looking for a way to organize the lab better with software so it's safe to say we would pay for it. We would pay anywhere from 500-1000."
